Just today, the TAD - 20 years ?! in the making - got into the top bay of the Tadfrey, albeit in an incomplete form, but that's no hurdle. It has supplied 100+ watts from an 11 m/s wind (estimated from no load voltage). This turned-out to be well in line with watt the sums had suggested - lots of them, done by a computer running qBasic.exe over a .bas program file. The same "model" indicated 500 watts from an 18 m/s wind. We shall see, quite soon, unless the promised "Indian summer" ruins it all !!
