New business and the low carbon economy

Marking the official opening of the award winning iCon Environmental Innovation Centre, this event will showcase the ideas and innovations behind a changing world. Featuring leading players in the low carbon sector, it will highlight funding opportunities for green businesses and show how they can succeed and adapt in a frequently shifting marketplace.

• Expert speakers including Patrick Bellew (founder of Atelier Ten), Guy Battle (founder of dcarbon8), and Peter Jones OBE, expert in sustainable waste management
• A wide range of workshops, providing support and advice for low carbon firms, including information about grant funding opportunities and export guidance from UK Trade and Investment
• Engaging discussion sessions hosted by The Guardian
• Exhibitions showcasing the latest developments, products and services in green technologies and sustainable construction
• A chance to see the award winning iCon Environmental Innovation Centre at first hand, and learn about its stunning, sustainable design
