In 2010 / 2011 Von Planta Productions produced an 8 part BBC documentary series about RACING GREEN, a story following the first electric car that succeeded to drive the entire 26,000km long Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Argentina. It's a world record of endurance and a clean-tech landmark in the history of the automotive industry. It's a great story to show that electric car technology is ready to replace the petrol based combustion engine and pave the way to cleaner, better and more sustainable transport.

RACING GREEN is first broadcast on BBC World News between 1st of January and 20th of February 2011. Each of the 8 episodes is shown twice on Saturdays and twice on Sundays in over 200 countries around the world. The schedule of the broadcast time can be found on the following website:
