I suppose when your spokesman for climate issues is a former spokesman for the Association of Private Security Companies, as does the UK high commission in Canada, findings like this are bound to follow.
Perhaps if there was less gossip and chit-chat about people's private lives from the commission, people would pay attention.

This is a very interesting Poll. For some years now I have wondered why it is that I have had such a dreary response from organizations you would expect to be interested in simple matters of fact regarding Wind-energy, in this case. I have got the impression that their understanding of matters is severely limited, and that they must simply like any old excuse to plonk collosal ego-trips all over the place - so long as it pays them well-enough, of course. They are allways quite unconcerned when I point-out 4 very basic reasons which account for why "modern windfarms" are about 40-odd times the cost that they could be. (also about the same factor of visibleness, that they would be)This is not only simple reason, but, these days, demonstrated fact. It's a kind of "molest us not with arithametic - that's just for kids, and we have a A-level, in "math", and what you say (2x2x2 = 8) doesn't mean anything to Us", attitude.
