New flat-pack home has low carbon features
Consumers who want to build their own home or have some extra living space on their land may be interested in a flat-pack home with low carbon features such as underfloor heating now available at Argos.
The firm has launched the Helskinki DIY flat-pack home for £13,099, which includes all components and the necessary instructions for self-assembly, the Daily Mail reports.
Argos said: "Prior to purchase check whether planning permission and building regulations approval may be required."
Buyers can also pick up a non-deluxe version of the house which does not have the Canmore Oak laminate flooring or underfloor heating and is available for just under £11,000.
Argos adds that the home is constructed with tongue and groove boards that offer additional strength and insulation for the home while double-glazed French doors and windows will also offer insulation to the DIY abode.
For those not wanting to purchase a whole home, Argos offers a range of low carbon furnishings, such as oil-free radiators.
