The Carbon Trust

Technology acceleration

Can you help The Carbon Trust accelerate change in a specific sector?

Our Technology Accelerators aim to accelerate deployment of technology sectors that are on a path towards full commercialisation but where there are significant barriers to uptake. We identify and address market and regulatory barriers to deployment, and this often involves large-scale monitored demonstrations and widespread dissemination of findings to industry and government.

• Industrial energy efficiency technology
• Offshore Wind Accelerator
• Marine Renewables Proving Fund
• Biomass Heat Accelerator
• Marine Energy Accelerator
• Building Accelerators
• Micro Combined Heat and Power Accelerator
