TEAM Bureau customers save more than they spend



TEAM is pleased to announce that during the first 5 months of 2013, a total of 17 of our TEAM Bureau customers, have saved more than they will spend on the bureau service until the end of the year.

TEAM is pleased to announce that during the first 5 months of 2013, 17 of our TEAM Bureau customers, have saved more than they will spend on the bureau service until the end of the year from utility bill validation and cost recoveries alone.

The outstanding service provided by our TEAM Bureau has saved these 17 customers a total of £1,750,472 in the first part of 2013. These savings were made on gas, electricity and water invoices, where the clear majority of utility cost recoveries were made on electricity bills.

A total of 66,794 bills were processed to achieve these savings, of which 72% were recoveries from electricity bills, 25% gas bills and 3% water bills.

Martin Theobald, Bureau services manager comments: "We work really closely with our customers, which I think is one of the reasons for success stories like these. It is a team effort on the part of our service delivery co-ordinators with their industry insight and the customers with the knowledge of their operations. Not only we do we save our customers money which goes to bottom line profits, but we take away the laborious administration task of identifying the billing errors and the process of reclaiming the cost."

Martin continues: "Our customers not only benefit from the cost recoveries, but also M&T reporting including exceptions, financial reporting (accruals and budgets) and accounts interfacing (end to end electronic billing). Our service delivery co-ordinators are trained to identify billing errors using our specialist Sigma software but also are so familiar with their customer accounts which allows them to spot errors immediately. We continue to make savings for our customer base year on year, and to say that we have exceeded the cost within the first five months of 2013 for a number of them is a great achievement for ourselves and proves that we really do provide a cost effective service."
