Can My Business Benefit From the Green Deal & ECO?

Start Date:18 Sep 13

Free for businesses in the construction, energy efficiency, renewables and related industries

9am – 1pm, Wednesday 18th September, White Rock Hotel, Hastings

The Government has recently launched The Green Deal and ECO energy efficiency schemes to encourage the uptake of energy efficiency measures at homes and businesses. This free seminar will explore the opportunities, practicalities, costs and risks for businesses who are thinking of getting involved. There will also be the opportunity to meet a Green Deal Provider.

The seminar will help answer the following questions:

• How do the Green Deal and ECO energy efficiency schemes work?
• How are the local authorities and housing associations involved?
• Will there be sub-contracting opportunities for my business?
• What certification is needed? What are the costs and time commitment required?
• Is there any further support is available for my business?

Refreshments and a networking lunch are provided. Booking essential: SEND an enquiry for more information

The seminar is being run by the Sustainable Business Partnership CIC, a not-for-profit company. It is free to attend thanks to part funding from the European Regional Development Fund through the Institute for Sustainability led RE:Start Local programme.
