Heat pumps can increases water temperature up to 80°C

Daikin’s advanced cascade technology reaches higher water temperatures efficiently without the need for auxiliary heat. System capacities are maintained even at extreme low temperatures.

What is a cascade system?
Daikin’s advanced cascade technology extracts the heat from the air and increases its temperature through two refrigerant cycles, to achieve 80°C.

The outdoor unit extracts heat from the ambient air raising the temperature via the R-410A refrigerant cycle, then transfers this heat to the indoor unit’s (up to 10) R-134A refrigerant cycle where the temperature is increased further and finally transferred to the internal water circuit. (Heating and hot water.)
