Daikin Altherma Cascade Technology

Daikin’s advanced cascade technology achieves higher water temperatures efficiently without the need for auxiliary heat. System capacities are maintained even at extreme low temperatures.

What is a Cascade System?
Daikin’s advanced cascade technology extracts the heat from the air and increases its temperature through two refrigerant cycles - to achieve 80°C.

The outdoor unit initially extracts heat from the ambient air and raises the temperature via an R-410A refrigerant cycle, then transfers this heat to the indoor unit’s (up to 10) R-134a refrigerant cycle where the temperature is increased further and finally transferred to the internal water circuit. (Heating and hot water)

Space Air Services
With every Daikin Altherma system Space Air provides prefabricated piping kits to maximise efficiency and reduce on-site installation time and costs. Space Air also supplies easy to understand operational guides and watt meters to continually monitor energy consumption.

Space Air offers full design support and essential accessory items to ensure that your system is fully optimised and supported.
