The Resource Efficiency Knowledge Transfer Network

Building on the foundation set down by the DTI and Research Council funded Mini-Waste Faraday Partnership, the new Resource Efficiency Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has secured substantial government funding to promote and facilitate the better use of material and energy resources by UK businesses in virtually all sectors.

Funded through the DTI Technology Programme, Knowledge Transfer Networks stimulate innovation by promoting collaboration, best practice and knowledge sharing between businesses and between business and academia.

The Resource Efficiency KTN activities will be delivered both through a team of core Knowledge Transfer Managers and Regional Technology Managers and also through a powerful web-based knowledge and information management platform. This web-portal will allow network members to access information and interact with other members on-line. One of the Network’s full time regional Technology Managers will be based in London.

Membership of the Resource Efficiency KTN is free – for more information see
