British Renewable Energy Awards – call for nominations

Awards categories include Champion, which could be an organisation or an individual that has helped advance renewable energy through a campaign, a highly influential report or other means. And it includes Community – we hope there are going to be lots of exciting community schemes given the FITs and forthcoming RHI.

We have an exciting top panel of judges this year, chaired by Peter Ainsworth, including:

• TV presenter and geologist Professor Iain Stewart
• BBC broadcaster Tom Heap
• Met Office's Head of Climate Change Advice, Dr Vicky Pope
• Guardian Environment Editor, Damian Carrington

Once again we are set for a glamorous and exciting awards night and gala dinner on 16th June and hope you'll join us.

Last year's winners included The National Trust in the Pioneer category for their outstanding plans to cut fossil fuel use 50% by 2020 and Sundog in the Installer category for their 2,300m2 solar system installation at Kings Cross.

Please visit to make your nominations.
