Prepared for the new law on renewable energy – Poland is at starting position
For the second time, on October 17–18, 2012, the trade fair RENEXPO® Poland in Warsaw will provide a perfect information platform on the subject of energy supply from renewable sources, intelligent distribution of energy and efficient use of energy in the Polish market. Through the exhibition, trade forums, congresses and framework program, the international specialized trade fair will present the possibilities of renewable energy and enable to establish multiple contacts. Approximately 85 national and international exhibitors from nine countries will present their innovative ideas.
Recently, the long-awaited project of the announced Polish law on renewable energy has been released. Thus, the aim to increase share of energy from renewable resources to over 15,5% should be met. So far, energy production in Poland has depended nearly in 90% on hard coal and lignite. Involvement in generating energy from wind, the sun or biomass, with the new law on renewable energy, is also expected to be financially profitable; for instance, the bill provides for revenues in the amount of 27 cents for kilowatt-hour. Essentially, wind energy and biomass have a great potential in Poland. Yet the possibilities and technologies for generating renewable energy have been so far largely unknown.
Under the patronage of the Polish Ministry of Economy and Polish Chamber of Commerce, on October 17–18, 2012, RENEXPO® Poland will inform renewable energy users and providers about products, planning, projects and current legal situation.
Through the exhibition, trade forums, congresses and diversified framework program, International Specialized Trade Fair for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency targets at entrepreneurs who want to get involved in the Polish market, planners, craftsmen and energy providing companies, as well as public, industry and private users.
One of the most important subjects this year will be photovoltaics. Representatives of the still young Polish photovoltaics industry will meet during RENEXPO® Poland: nearly half of the exhibitors are from this industry. The offer will be complemented with the 2nd conference: Photovoltaics in Poland – the beginning of dynamic development, organized on October 17, 2012, by Polish Photovoltaics Association, in cooperation with the trade fair organizer, REECO Poland Ltd. The conference will be supported by international photovoltaics associations, such as European Photovoltaic Industry Association, PV CYCLE and Fotovoltaic Association for Renewable Energy in Europe. Noted international photovoltaics companies, such as REC Solar, IBC Solar, ET Solar, Krannich Solar or Gehrlicher Solar, will appear as sponsors.
Other important points during the meetings are the topics of heat pumps, water energy and bioenergy. Here, Polish Organization of Heat Pump Technology Development will organize a conference devoted to heat pumps which will discuss the prospects of heat pump technology and their use in low energy buildings.
The idea of the conference will be supported by European Heat Pump Association. The 2nd conference, Hydropower in Poland, organized by Polish Hydropower Association and Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery PAS, will take place for the second time. 2nd Biomass Conference, in cooperation with Biomass Chamber of Poland, will be devoted to the subject of biomass.
During another seminar, Association of Polish Electrical Engineers, in cooperation with Electrotechnical Institute, will talk about electric mobility and explain technical assumptions and possibilities for electric cars use.
Without the involvement of certain individuals, it would be impossible to achieve success in the renewable energy sector. It is this aspect that the trade organizer REECO Poland Ltd. wants to focus on. This year will be the first time when Renewable Energy Award powered by RENEXPO® Poland will be awarded to a personality who has particular achievements in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Another award, for the most innovative technology, will be awarded to one of the exhibitors during RENEXPO® Poland 2012. The winners will be announced during professional networking dinner on October 17, 2012.
The trade fair RENEXPO@ Poland organizer, REECO group, supports international relations: as one of the European leaders in the market, for over ten years it has been organizing trade fairs and congresses in the industry of renewable energy, cooperating with multiple national and international associations and organizations. RENEXPO® Poland focuses on internationalism: 55% of exhibitors and 6% of visitors are from abroad. Companies will present innovative products and energy technologies from neighbouring countries at a joint German stand. Additionally, business matching and framework program will offer multiple possibilities to establish contacts with potential business partners.
RENEXPO® Poland 2012 will take place on October 17–18, 2012. The visiting hours are: Tuesday, from 9.00 to 17.00 and Wednesday from 9.00 to 16.30. Additional information concerning the trade fair, conferences and program are available by contacting us.
