Energy from Waste 2012

Start Date:22 Feb 12 End Date:23 Feb 12

The eighth year of this leading industry event, held in London every February, provides an unrivalled opportunity to assess the UK's waste and energy from waste industries. This is a sector which is developing rapidly, with the emergence of newer technologies and varied developments.

The Energy from Waste conference provides a unique occasion to meet and discuss key issues with fellow industry leaders. The conference programme covers policy developments in waste and energy. It analyses government mechanisms for financial support for EfW technologies; considers the complexities of financing, particularly for C and I wastes and newer technologies; assesses the development of the SRF market and how this is becoming a low-carbon choice for high-energy using industries; looks at decentralised generation, the demand for low-carbon heat and the role of EfW and explores emerging markets and cutting edge technologies, particularly in transport fuel and hydrogen production.

Energy from Waste 2012 provides two full days of top level information, authoritative industry comment and numerous networking opportunities with industry leaders, policy advisors and opinion formers.

This year the conference also features optional site visits, breakfast seminars and a first evening networking opportunity. Energy from Waste 2012 will be held at Cavendish Conference Centre, London. Low Carbon Economy members receive a 10% discount off the standard delegate rate. Send an enquiry for further information and to book your place.
