Rayotec Limited was incorporated in 1987 to deal in the business of solar energy and is currently the appointed UK distributors for the SCHOTT, Ritter, Thermomax and OKU solar collectors and photovoltaic solar electricity modules. The Company is geared up to provide commercial and technical support and information to those interested in solar energy.

Rayotec has its offices, showroom and warehouse in Sunbury-on-Thames. A member of our sales and surveying team can visit prospective customers in most areas to deal with sales enquiries, assess suitability of the property for solar and provide quotations.

Our team of professional solar engineers, trained and experienced with solar energy system operate from our fully equipped workshop. The engineers, being full-time employees of the company and fully insured, are responsible to prepare systems, carry out installations and provide prompt after sales service. Rayotec Limited also holds training sessions on system design and installation work; this 'free' service has proved a big success with trade customers wishing to promote solar energy in their area.

Rayotec has a network of 60 dealers in the UK. These independent dealers can provide information, pricing and installation service to customers in their areas. Supplies of solar collectors, controllers, storage cylinders/ tanks and active system packs are available ex-stock and can be delivered to any part of UK within 7 days. The company has supplied systems for end-user customers in France, Portugal, Spain and Belgium; in some cases also carried out the installation work as well.

Rayotec Limited and its network of dealers have carried out in excess of 6,000 installations of solar systems in the UK and Ireland. They range from a single panel system, for a four-person family to a 1,000-tube evacuated system for Islington Borough Council in London. Amongst our thousands of customers we have the Gatwick Airport, Paignton Zoo, BBC Dream House, the Royal Navy, The Body Shop International plc, HSBC Bank, BMW factory, Scottish Power, EDF Energy and numerous Local Authority properties throughout the country. An installation was completed at the new head quarters of the Environmental Agency in Wallingford and more recently at The Foreign and Commonwealth Offices in Milton Keynes.

Rayotec is a government-accredited supplier and installer (accreditation certificate no. MCS 1230 – for small and large scale installations of solar thermal systems and grid-connecting photovoltaic solar systems). Rayotec is a full member of the Solar Trade Association and Renewable Energy Association and adheres to their Code of Practice. Rayotec Ltd is amongst the very few solar installers accredited with ISO 9001 (Certificate No. GB15692), demonstrating the company’s commitment to quality.

Rayotec Ltd also supplies and installs solar assisted under floor heating and heat pump systems.
