powerPerfector leads green revolution
Paddington-based powerPerfector is the 10th fastest growing company in the UK, according to the annual Sunday Times Fast Track 100.
The Fast Track league table recognises growth in turnover over a three year period. powerPerfector is the only green technology company in the 100 top performing companies.
The company's voltage power optimisation® technology gives energy, cost and carbon savings by efficiently optimising a site's supply voltage. By optimising the voltage, electrical equipment runs more efficiently and consumes less energy.
The company saw 140% growth in the 36 months to December 2009 leading to a jump from 33rd in the Fast Track list last year.
Angus Robertson, CEO of powerPerfector, said: "Our technology is unparalleled in terms of reliability and savings. Our measurement and verification methodology is world leading and our team of approved installers are breaking new ground in its ability to rollout our technology safely and rapidly.
"The three-fold increase in turnover marks a three year period in which the need for corporate energy and carbon savings has become more pressing and, for the first time, is driven by the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme."
Last month, the technology was voted 'Best Low Carbon Product' at the Green Business Awards and 'Pioneering Technology and Innovation' of the year at the Environment Agency's Environmental Pioneer Awards.
The company has also been mentioned in the Verdantix report "Ten predictions for sustainable business in 2011".
