Win a small 350watt infrared heating panel this Christmas
Multiheat & Energy Systems Ltd in Devon are running a draw this December to win a small 350 watt infrared heating panel with feet to use as an additional top up heater in the cold weather or to warm a small room such as the study or utility room, infrared heating is energy efficient and cheap to run. Enter the Christmas competition on their website.
Although the initial purchase cost of these panels is greater than other electric fan or convector heaters it is easy to see great savings can be made on energy usage and the payback time could be as little as one year, infrared heats people and objects rather than the air and therefore the energy usage is much lower than other forms of electrical heating, this small panel can heat a room of 7 square metres and uses very little electricity, for example if the heater were on 5 hours a day, with electricity at 13 pence per unit, it would cost 23 pence per day to run! It would be false enonomy to only look at the initial purchase price of a new electrical product without looking into the running costs, infrared heating has been used in Europe for more than ten years because it is energy efficient.
The small infrared heating panel is 60 cms square and less than 2.5cm deep, this panel does come with feet and a long flex for use as an additional room heater and can be used with a timer switch but the majority of the panels from Multiheat are fitted onto the wall or ceiling and hard wired into a programmer.
