The Moss Solar Trust encourages research and demonstration projects in to solar power for transport. Work commened in 1993 with the building of the worlds first solar powered boat in India and now is promoting solar power for boats around the world though primarily in India and UK. Research is also carried out in to solar vehicles and the Trust has sponsored the EcoZone at the Royal Bath and West Show and orgnised the SolaRola Adventure from London to Somerset by 6 solar wheelchairs and the very successful solar quadricycle in 2008 .
