This former councillor was interested in the investment opportunity that the Feed-in Tariff offered which gives a better return than the ISAs they currently invest in. The owners spent a long time researching the offering from the market and chose Mitsubishi Electric because it was a brand that was known and trusted by them.
Originally intended to have Moser Baer 230Wp modules installed, we discussed the pros and cons of both modules and Mr & Mrs Prest preferred the Mitsubishi as it was a known brand name to them. They are very pro-active “green” people, Mr Prest is a former councillor and also interested in the investment opportunity as with the Feed-in Tariffs the project should make a much better return than the ISA’s they currently invest in.

The performance of PV systems is impossible to predict with certainty due to the variability in the amount of sunlight in different locations of the UK and from year to year.
This is index linked, and assumes that 50% of electricity is generated by the PV array, and 50% is exported back to the grid. Based on an average of 9p per kWh charged by the energy supplier.
This estimate is based upon the Government's standard assessment procedure for energy rating of buildings (SAP) and is given as guidance only. It should not be considered as a guarantee of performance.
