Low Carbon South West is a new network established by the University of Bath to build an active community in this sector and establish impactful links between companies and universities.

Low Carbon South West will make it easier for companies, entrepreneurs, investors and researchers to meet and exchange ideas and opportunities. The network will also provide a showcase for low carbon technology innovation.

Why the South West of England?
Major initiatives like the University of Bath’s Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Environment (I-SEE) and the opening of the new Wave Hub in Cornwall next year are evidence of a ‘natural’ low carbon cluster in the South West of England. Low Carbon South West aims to provide the ‘superstructure’ that allows regional, national and international companies to easily access the research and business resources of the region.
