Technical Sales manager - LED Lighting

Salary: £45,000 + commission + company car

We have been retained by our client, M3 Solutions to recruit a key role for their continued growth and expansion. M3 Solutions is a well-established contractor/installer in the commercial office fit out and solar PV sectors. Part of a larger group they have an outstanding reputation for quality installations and customer service. With continued expansion and success in the commercial solar and office fit out divisions they now seek an experienced technical sales manager to drive the LED lighting business, working closely with the UK Sales Director. Despite immanent changes to the UK solar incentive schemes the company sees a strong future for this sector, and an increasing convergence of energy efficient solutions such as LED lighting, solar PV and other measures to provide commercial and corporate clients with a strong financial ROI, that also provide much needed carbon reduction. Of course energy cost reduction and stabilisation are also vital to businesses, and M3 are able to tailor solutions to achieve all of these goals, and do so with innovative funding packages that usually require low or zero capex. This role is to further develop and sell LED lighting solutions, utilsing the company's extensive existing customer base, and working through an existing field and internal sales team.

It is essential that you have a successful track record of selling lighting solutions to commercial and corporate organisations, and a strong technical understanding of LED solutions and applications.

Operationally the company have outstanding internal technical and operational support, as well as first class installation and delivery teams. This role is to develop LED sales, supported by the existing infrastructure, to achieve significant growth and market presence.

Culturally this is a company that prides itself on a focused, dynamic and quality ethos, and that extends to the sales teams. No hard sales, this is consultative selling to a commercial market that includes retail, property, distribution, professional services and manufacturing businesses. That said commissions are uncapped and generous and geared to reward those that can demonstrate success in commercial sales achievement.

Full company and product training will be provided, as will all the tools required to do the job, including car or car allowance, mobile, laptop etc and the full support of the company directors.
