Wind Power Italia

Start Date:14 Jun 11 End Date:15 Jun 11

Wind Power Italia

As Europe's 3rd biggest market for wind, the recent growth of the Italian wind power industry has continued to defy challenging economic conditions. The Ministry of Industry is working on a new incentive decree that balances the price customers pay for energy with an economically viable feed in tariff that does not curtail Italy’s potential to meet its 2020 renewable targets.

Wind Power Italia comes at a crucial time in the Italian wind market; the introduction of a feed-in tariff will affect the way companies forecast revenue, issues exist in the grid – in common with many countries – which was not designed for renewable energy and siting and permitting applications can take too long to be approved. Forced curtailments may also appear in light of the huge expansion of the solar market in 2010.

These factors make it a necessity for the most senior wind leaders from utilities, developers, financial institutions, law firms, OEMs and key technology providers to meet face-to-face and carve out solutions that will help the Italian wind market maintain its momentum.

• Dissect and discuss the impact of the imminent renewable energy decree and understand the impact that it will have on your own revenue and profit
• Hear from key developers with real life operational experience as they identify the challenges your project may face and how you can overcome them
• Discover TERNA's plans for the continued development of the grid to accommodate output from wind energy projects
• Join a senior delegation of international experts who are ready to find out about opportunities in the Italian wind market; don't get left behind as your competitors gain essential knowledge

This landmark event is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people who are ready to do business. For more details send an enquiry to Katie.
