News from greening education event

Delegates from all continents gathered in Karl-Benz Hall, Karlsruhe, Germany from 27th to 29th of October 2010 for the International Greening Education Event (IGEE) 2010

IGEE 2010 provided a great opportunity to academia and other stakeholders to discuss various models of greening education and get new ideas about integrating sustainability across all areas of educational institutions. The delegates fully utilized the event to share their thoughts in reference to introducing or intensifying efforts to make educational institutions responsive to the requirements of emerging sustainable society.

The event was also about socializing with those who had shared interest, developing of synergies with like-minded individuals and exploring possibilities of cooperation with institutions interested in greening education or with those who have already embarked upon a sustainability journey.

Download the attached file to read what delegates had to say about the event.

Thank you all for your great input, for wonderful discussions, for superb presentations, and your cooperation in making IGEE 2010 a smoothly running conference. Thanks also for creating a fine ambience for productive exchange of ideas and for networking.
