Who's looking forward to some winter weather?
Winter weather is causing some excitement in the eSight Energy offices this week as the company launched the new version of its leading energy management software, eSight®.
A key introduction to the software’s extensive repertoire of energy management tools is the new eSight® Global Weather Service, designed to assess how local external temperature affects a building or organisation’s energy consumption. By looking at how this week’s drop in temperature has affected energy consumption, organisations can begin to see how well equipped they are for the forthcoming winter. It’s an easy way to assess building efficiency and plan for required improvements and likely payback periods of investments.
With access to weather data for over 4,000 global locations, the Global Weather Service will benefit multi-site and multi-national organisations needing to accurately monitor, manage and benchmark buildings in their portfolio. Hourly weather information from the Global Weather Service includes heating/cooling degree days, dry bulb, wet bulb and relative humidity.
eSight® users are also benefiting from a number of additional new enhancements including improved graph styling, a CRC Reporting Module, Multi-Variable Linear Regression Analysis and eZdash interactive energy dashboards with graphing capability.
