eSight Energy identified as energy management ‘leaders’ in independent report
Cambridge, UK – April 2014
eSight Energy has been compared alongside global energy management software providers, and has been classified as a ‘leader’ in the field.
The Verdantix Green Quadrant Building Energy Management Software Report independently compares the 14 leading global software providers against set criteria, identifying the strengths and potential improvement areas of each solution.
Following detailed evaluation of the software, eSight has been identified as a ‘highly configurable solution for service providers,’ scoring particularly highly in IT Systems Integration, Utility Bill Management and Energy Monitoring & Targeting. These core aspects of the software are also identified in the study as the key requirements for buyers when considering an energy management solution, in particular “energy monitoring and targeting tops the list of most important energy management functionality”.
The flexibility of eSight software is also recognised in the report, as it is recommended as the ideal solution for a range of applications from “universities requiring an intuitive user interface and reporting solution to drive engagement” to “service partners requiring a configurable platform to share results.”
Simon Durrant, CEO of the eSight Energy Group, commented: “We are delighted to have been recognised as a leader among energy management software providers. As a well-established solution, eSight is built upon a strong monitoring and targeting core which has grown in functionality to respond to industry and customer needs. The results of the report are recognition of our continued position at the forefront of the industry.”
Verdantix evaluated the participants of the report in terms of capabilities and momentum, with buyer requirements based on interviews with 15 users of building energy management software, representing firms with combined revenues of $348 billion.
