ENER-G showcases new cost and carbon cutting technologies

Sustainable energy business ENER-G will showcase a number of new and innovative energy management solutions at the Energy Event (13–14 September 2011) on stand no 2916.

ENER-G will unveil its new building energy management system, called E-MAGINE, and its advanced ENER-G RiskManager™ software, delivering real-time risk management for flexible energy purchasing. In addition ENER-G's independent energy and carbon consultancy, CMR Consultants, is launching its Energy Kaizen Programme, designed to deliver rapid reductions in energy consumption, carbon emissions and costs.

ENER-G's energy management division has a complete range of products and services to assist energy managers in buying, managing and reducing their energy consumption, including independent energy, carbon and water consultancy, procurement and risk management, metering and data solutions, bureau services, building management controls and energy efficiency solutions.

E-MAGINE uses the latest in IT and internet technology to control and manage all heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting applications, reducing energy usage up to 25% across single and multiple buildings, or an entire property portfolio. It is both tamper-proof and pre-engineered to provide fast installation and commissioning, and assured lifetime reduction on energy costs and carbon savings.

A key component of E-MAGINE is its online energy management tool, E-VISION, which enables users to design, commission, control, analyse and manage energy usage remotely. Using its advanced analysis and reporting capabilities, building owners and operators can optimise a building's energy performance to achieve lower carbon dioxide emissions and lifetime costs, and comply with different types of energy legislation and standards.

ENER-G Procurement's new ENER-G RiskManager™ software monitors wholesale market prices in real time, automatically tracking, recording and reporting market movements as they happen to support decision making in flexible energy purchasing. ENER-G's analysts are able to work closely with customers to develop a personalised purchasing and risk management strategy and a detailed implementation programme.

CMR Consultants have taken the well-known concept of Kaizen to rapidly improve energy performance in any type of organisation or property. Unlike other energy saving initiatives, an Energy Kaizen Programme will stimulate a shift change in an organisation's strategic approach and cultural attitude to energy reduction, reducing energy consumption, optimising efficiency and encouraging continuous improvement.

ENER-G delivers sustainable energy solutions and technologies to organisations worldwide, providing a range of products and services to help organisations cost-effectively buy or generate energy and optimise efficiency.
