CIBSE TV programme features ENER-G's funded solutions energy saving and carbon reduction
View the CIBSE TV programme on innovative engineering and building performance in which ENER-G discusses its guaranteed energy savings agreements, providing organisations with access to carbon saving technologies and services today that they can refund from tomorrow's energy savings.
Derek Duffill, group managing director of the ENER-G group discusses energy saving and carbon reduction in buildings and industry as part of the CIBSE-sponsored Business Channel TV programme on Innovative Engineering and Building Performance.
Derek Duffill said: "ENER-G is a British company that manufactures products to help reduce energy usage and carbon emissions. We also offer energy services, engineering end-to-end solutions and financing them off our own balance sheet to get the projects to work."
He added: "Innovation is crucial and we work closely with our clients to develop energy saving projects. Recently we worked with Tesco to produce a smaller footprint CHP system and we have launched a building energy management system that is cloud based and fully automatic so it doesn't require engineer commissioning."
The TV programme covers innovation in building engineering, examining the products and services that can facilitate saving energy, lower carbon and achieve efficiency for clients. It questions how new governmental regulations affect building services engineers in their work. Utilising the power of film, the programme explores the business case for specifying the latest products and services to meet the increasing challenges faced by professionals in refurb/retrofit projects or new build.
