ISO accreditation for EMSc
EMSc (UK) Ltd, designers and manufacturers of the Star® range of energy savings solutions is proud to announce it has achieved certification to the quality management system standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.
The company, which has been developing its award winning systems, including the market leading Powerstar voltage optimisation system in the UK for over decade, underwent an extensive process of review and improvement to ensure all aspects of its operation from design and manufacture, to delivery and customer service achieved the benchmark standards.
Dr Alex Mardapittas, managing director of EMSc (UK) Ltd commented: "The award of the certification is testament to our efforts to continuously improve the management systems within the company and represents a substantial achievement. We are delighted with the accreditation and are aware of the work that will be needed to ensure we progressively enhance our systems and standards. The certification is a significant milestone in this development."
EMSc (UK) Ltd is currently celebrating over 10 years of British design and manufacturing success. The company is accredited with the Made in Sheffield accolade in acknowledgement of the quality of its manufacturing process, its expansion into international markets, and the overall success of Powerstar, which is exported worldwide to countries including Cyprus, Australia, UAE, South Africa, Greece, Malta, Bahrain and Spain.
