Free energy saving seminar for companies in Cardiff
Companies in Cardiff and the surrounding areas are invited to attend a free Continuing Professional/ Personal Development (CPD) seminar on how to achieve energy efficiency, carbon reduction and lower energy bills. The seminar, hosted by leading energy solutions provider EMSc (UK) Ltd – manufacturer of the award-winning Powerstar voltage optimisation system – will take place at Cardiff University’s Birchwood House on 7th June 2012.
The focus of the event, which forms part of an extensive nationwide campaign, will be on energy management and sustainability and will include a presentation by Powerstar UK Sales Manager, Peter Newell on voltage optimisation and its associated benefits, which include energy savings, reduced carbon emissions, and financial returns.
In addition, Sean Davey from Caerphilly-based UES Energy will be delivering an address on how to avoid the common pitfalls in energy procurement and management. The presentation will include regional case studies on successful energy management solutions carried out by companies in South Wales.
Commenting on the upcoming event, Dr Alex Mardapittas, managing director at EMSc (UK) Ltd, said: “Delivered in association with a number of highly regarded experts, this seminar is aimed at showcasing voltage optimisation as a reliable and credible energy efficiency technology that can help address carbon reduction issues while helping to combat ever-increasing energy costs.”
The free to attend seminar will take place from 9:30 am until 1.00 pm and will include a buffet lunch. There will be an opportunity to network both before and after the event. Attendees will be awarded with training certificates and self-assessment forms on completion of the event.
