Free CPD seminar for companies in Swansea Valley
Companies in the Swansea Valley will be able to find out how voltage optimisation can help them reduce their energy consumption and lower their carbon emissions at a free Continuing Professional/Personal Development seminar. The seminar is being held on Wednesday the 19th October 2011 in Swansea by market leading energy saving voltage optimisation manufacturer EMSc (UK) Limited.
Companies throughout the UK are increasingly turning to voltage optimisation to reduce their energy consumption and lower their carbon emissions to achieve sustainability strategy targets. Voltage optimisation is a simple cost efficient way to control a building’s incoming voltage in order to maximise energy savings.
The free seminar, delivered with South Wales businesses in mind, will feature a number of presentations on energy management and sustainability with a focus on voltage optimisation. Guest speaker, Andrew Diplock of Caerphilly based UES Energy will present regional case studies on successful sustainability campaigns carried out by companies in South Wales.
A second guest speaker, Mr Geoff Clifton, business development manager of VO4HOME, will present how domestic voltage optimisation can benefit homeowners across the region.
EMS' voltage optimisation system Powerstar is recognised as being the most efficient voltage solution in the world and can save up to 26.1% of total electricity consumption and related CO2 emissions, all without compromising the supply to electrical equipment. The payback period after installing the product is typically between 0.8 and 2.5 years.
Alex Mardapittas, managing director at EMS, commented: “We are pleased to be working together with local experts to educate businesses in South Wales on cost-efficient technologies that can help them save electricity, particularly with energy prices rising so much recently.”
The free to attend seminar will take place at the Ramada Jarvis hotel in Swansea from 9:30 am until 1.00 pm on the 19th October. It will include a free buffet lunch and all attendees will be awarded with training certificates and self assessment forms on completion on of the seminar. There will also be an opportunity for networking.
