Free breakfast seminars deliver powerful energy saving advice
Leading energy saving solutions manufacturer EMSc (UK) Ltd has recently completed a series of informative breakfast seminars in conjunction with leading domestic voltage optimisation company VO4HOME Ltd. The seminars were delivered by EMSc (UK) Ltd’s managing director Dr. Alex Mardapittas, a pioneer in the field of research and manufacture of energy saving solutions and Mr. Geoff Clifton, business development manager of VO4HOME.
Delegates who attended the seminar learnt - why voltage optimisation is used and gained an understanding of when and how voltage optimisation should be utilised.
The exclusive invitation only seminars, which were held across the UK, included attendees from a carefully selected target profile of energy consultants, facilities management organisations, wholesalers and housing associations.
Dr. Mardapittas also used the opportunity to present more details about Powerstar HV MAX - EMSc (UK) Ltd’s latest product, and the world’s first product of its type - explaining how ultimately voltage optimisation is used to correct problems caused by a site’s HV infrastructure, and some sites can benefit from optimising electricity supply at the source.
Dr Mardapittas explained: “Companies need to determine whether they can eliminate the problem at the source, the HV side, which would generally be the case if the transformer is not brand new, and is owned by the site.”
He added, “In this situation, Powerstar HV MAX should be the solution installed, as the super low loss amorphous core transformer, coupled with the voltage optimisation technology, will optimise the voltage before it comes onto site, irradiating the issues caused by high voltage levels and providing average energy consumption savings of around 15%-17%.
During his presentations, Mr Clifton announced that VO4HOME is launching a new 3-phase product early in 2013, as well as an upgrade to the company’s popular single phase domestic voltage optimisation system.
