Focus on fans at Facilities Show
Elta Fans will be exhibiting at the Facilities Show1 (Stand 2D84) for the first time, taking the opportunity to highlight to facilities managers what they need to be aware of in terms of the HVAC systems within their buildings following the introduction of the new ErP (Energy related Products) Directive on 1 January 2013.
A number of fans will be on show from the Elta Select range, supported by a brand new catalogue which identifies the products from Elta that are compliant with the energy efficiency based legislation. Elta will be focusing on explaining to visitors the implications of the legislation, specifically what constitutes compliant and non-compliant products, including why many products are unaffected whilst the legislation remains in draft form. There will also be dedicated literature on the ErP Directive available on the stand, further illustrating why it is having such a profound effect on the building services sector.
Amongst the fans on show will be a Viper SCC EC, a Raptor SPA EC and SDA EC, and a Quietflow SQT DCV, along with a Komfovent Domekt heat recovery unit and the ZOO Fan EC model, highlighting Elta Fans’ development programme of designing and manufacturing units to meet the fan motor efficiency and specific fan power values stipulated under the ErP Directive.
Also on show will be the first in a range of fans, complete with controls, designed specifically for the domestic market and soon to be launched by Elta in the UK.
