Delphis Eco in Ecolabel newsletter
Delphis Eco is the main feature of the January 2011 EU Ecolabel newsletter focussing on their time at Clarence House. Below is a copy of the release.
The Prince of Wales joined forces in September 2010 with musicians, comedians, environmental experts and some of Britain's best known companies to create a unique festival in the heart of London. The Prince opened up his own gardens at Clarence House, together with his neighbours' gardens at Lancaster House and Marlborough House in September to host a unique festival titled A Garden Party To Make A Difference. The event aimed to give people of all ages a fun day out while at the same time, via the exhibits, demonstrate the small steps that can, and are, being taken by all of us, interested in building a more sustainable future.
Delphis Eco, which was one of the first companies in Britain to receive the EU Ecolabel accreditation for its all-purpose cleaners, were invited to exhibit at the 12 day festival. The importance of using environmentally friendly cleaning products was even highlighted in the event guide, citing readers to look out for the EU Ecolabel.
Mark Jankovich, MD of Delphis Eco explains, "All in all it was a remarkable time for Delphis Eco at Clarence House, and we feel very privileged to be in the presence of pioneers for a better and greener world for all. Delphis Eco, along with the other exhibitors, showed how straightforward it can be to 'go green'; a switch to our product range can be one of those simple steps towards a sustainable future."
