Are you interested in working for a brand new consumer focussed website, providing advice, expertise and products into the renewable energy market?

Cleanenergycashback.com is an independently owned company set up to provide free advice to consumers on the renewable energy options for their home. Visitors are equipped with the basics they need to know on which renewable energy system is right for them, before being put in touch with a reputable supplier. The intention is for the site to provide industry leading advice, attracting media and consumer interest.

Due to a unique combination of investors, the site has unprecedented access to the most senior and relevant budget holders and decision makers of leading gas and electricity utilities, manufactures and nationwide installers, the wider sustainable energy industry and with mainstream media. We are looking for somebody to take forward the next stage of commercialisation of the site, building on these relationships to build profile and credibility.

The successful candidate will manage and develop the lead generation aspect of the business, including the commercial interface with our web development partners, the site’s commercial partners, the pre-qualification process and improvement of lead quality. The candidate will also be expected to track industry developments and update blog with comments on news and activity within the microgeneration sector.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven Communication Skills

Visitor traffic is an essential component of success. The site will require promotion through online and mainstream marketing (blogs, social networking, press articles etc). CECB Ltd has broad industry networks and ideas, but requires an individual with the motivation and communication skills to execute marketing of the site.

E-Commerce Experience

The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience of delivering successful online and offline marketing strategy within a B2C environment (preferably online), and must thrive in an innovative, fast paced and challenging environment. Co-operation with In-house design and IT team will be necessary on site design and SEO strategy.

Entrepreneurial Flair

As with any new business, close attention must be paid to keep costs to a minimum and also to identify and exploit revenue earning opportunities. Some experience of managing cash-flow, operating on budgets and successfully developing small businesses is desirable. A hands-on approach is necessary as limited resources are available for supporting activities.

Data Management and Organisation

The revenue aspect of the site relies upon successful processing and transfer of customer enquiry leads to installer partners. In time, more sophisticated electronic processes will be implemented to manage volume lead generation however initial requirements include literacy with spreadsheet formats, and the ability to process information in an organised systematic manner. Regular management reports will also be required.
