Our client is an exceptionally well-funded innovator and manufacturer of concentrator photovoltaics (CPV) systems for operation in the world's sunbelt, with patented technology which leads next-generation of CPV systems.

• at least five years proven track record in system sales in the photovoltaics sector, ideally in both grid-connected and off-grid power solutions, preferably in sunbelt countries
• experience in the management of large, complex sales of capital equipment, ideally including infrastructure projects, and proven ability to create and sell overall solutions packages matching the customer's requirements (for example, including project finance)
• an understanding of the drivers for deployment of large photovoltaics systems, including
-LCOE/cost of ownership
-customer requirements – system performance, cost and reliability
-support mechanisms
-application requirements – including hybrid power generation solutions
-environmental factors

• identification of potential customers and sales opportunities in the sunbelt regions
• development of specific sales opportunities, negotiation and closure
• close liaison with the company's engineering, and production teams
• preparation of proposals, tenders and quotations
• significant international travel
