Biomass power assistant VP

With an HQ in London and a US listing (OTC stock market), our client is a biomass power generation company with expanding interests in India, Africa and South East Asia. With a target of generating 500MW of renewable energy within India in five years, they are looking for a VP of technology to play a key role as they expand.


As assistant vice president of biomass power you will play an important role in analysing, validating, and supporting our client's expansion from its existing capacity of 3 power plants to 8 over the coming two years.


You have at least three years within the biomass sector and have a combination of technical and commercial knowledge. You have a thorough and deep understanding of biomass power plant technology, EPC, PLF, biomass supply chain, power purchase agreements (PPA), CDM/CER, government regulations, and such.

You will also have the following
• A mechanical engineering degree
• At least 5 years within power generation
• At least 3 years within biomass
