Wood pellets
Wood pellets are small compressed cylinders of natural dry wood shavings and sawdust, of diameter 5-6mm and length 10-25mm. They are formed at very high pressure, with no chemical bonding and their water content is very low. Wood pellets are sold by kilogram.
One cubic metre of pellets weighs 650kg.
Pellets are delivered by road tanker and blown into your storage automatically using a flexible hose. You will be glad to know that, unlike liquid fuel, pellets have no smell and of course do not release any traces of oil.
During growth trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air; carbon dioxide is then released again in the same quantity when the wood is burnt. So the carbon dioxide emission is no higher than would occur during natural forest decomposition. Relax in the knowledge that our eco-friendly equipment contributes to a healthier environment.
