Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association

UK AD & Biogas 2011

Start Date:06 Jul 11 End Date:07 Jul 11

UK AD & Biogas 2011, taking place on 6–7 July 2011 at the NEC Birmingham, is the only trade show in the UK focusing exclusively on anaerobic digestion and biogas. Organised by the Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA), the industry's trade body, this two day event is for anyone interested in, exploring or already building anaerobic digestion (AD) plants and is set to answer any questions you have regarding this renewable energy.

What's on offer?
• Two day conference "The life cycle of an AD plant"
• Over 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest AD technology
• FREE seminars and workshops
• FREE entry to the exhibition to all farmers and local authorities

New financial incentive for AD
With the Renewable Heat Incentive finally announced, increased levels of FIT proposed for AD and the coalition government's commitment to deliver a "huge increase in energy from waste through anaerobic digestion", the AD industry is no longer theorising – it is now under construction. Therefore, UK AD & Biogas 2011 offers the perfect opportunity to hear from those people actually developing, building and operating AD plants to learn about the issues they faced and how they overcame them.

2 day conference "The life cycle of an AD plant"
Alongside UK AD & Biogas 2011 will be the two day conference, "The life cycle of an AD plant", which will take delegates through every stage of an AD project. The first day will guide attendees through every step in the development of a scheme, including the importance of understanding the key political and regulatory issues and drivers, the most important variables and assumptions you should be focusing on in your financial model, the design and procurement of plants and how to win a tender. Day two will the show delegates everything from sourcing and securing feedstock, to commissioning and operating safely and maximising output. In-depth panel discussion and real-life case studies will give delegates the complete framework to build their own business plan, learn how to get the most from their feedstock and the questions they need to ask to get it right.

Who should attend?
Whether you are a professional involved in the renewable energy, waste, food, water, transport, finance, consulting or farming industries, or you are simply interested in this low carbon technology, UK AD & Biogas 2011 is a great starting point to find out who is involved in the industry, meet key experts and leading developers, view case studies and see how your business can get the most out of anaerobic digestion and biogas.
