The Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Association (ADBA) launched in mid-September 2009 with the support of key founder members and our Chairman Lord Redesdale, a former Liberal Democrat energy spokesman in the House of Lords, to represent all businesses involved in the anaerobic digestion and biogas industries, to enable the development of the industry in the UK, including helping remove the barriers they face and supporting its members to grow their businesses. ADBA is the first trade association for the anaerobic digestion and biogas industries in the UK and is working hard to develop the industry.

Since its launch, ADBA has rapidly grown to over 220 members and is currently busy organising UK AD & Biogas 2011 (6–7 July, NEC Birmingham), the UK's only trade show focusing exclusively on anaerobic digestion and biogas.
