Wind Power Africa 2011 Conference

Start Date:09 May 11 End Date:11 May 11

The AFRICAN WIND ENERGY ASSOCIATION is proud to announce the 2nd annual Wind Power Africa Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition to take place on 9-11 May 2011 at the CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE (CTICC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

This premier international event on wind energy in Africa will provide a powerful networking platform bringing together key African and International stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to unlock Africa’s wind energy potential.
The opportunities for wind power in Africa and South Africa in particular, are immense due to a favourable investment climate offering profitable feed-in tariffs for wind energy, tremendous CDM project potential, ideal natural conditions as well as increasing energy demand and capacity shortages in growing economies. WIND POWER AFRICA 2011 will examine the current and future wind energy markets in Africa and highlight attractive business opportunities, with in-depth analysis and Country case studies.
