Using the best slow grown timber from Finland we can supply a complete house ready for quick on site construction. All timber comes precut by computer for perfect fit studs and rafters, meaning no time is spent on site deciphering architects drawings - we do that for you. We aim to build to a very high energy rating - Passivhaus and Code 6 are our current goals, our own Code 6 developement is currently under construction. We have been working on all aspects of Ecohomes for around 15 years and can offer a consultancy service for your project. Over the years we have been involved with many different types of construction from heavy build block buildings right through to 400mm deep I beam timber walls - providing the maximum insulation potential. This vast experience also allows us to advise on avoiding the possible pitfalls in construction due to bad detailing that can for example lead to poor performance of the airtight layer.
