Spain produces almost 25% of its electricity from renewable energy sources

Having returned from the European Future Energy Summit in Bilbao last week I learned that by the end of the year Spain will be producing almost 25% of its electricity from renewable sources!

That's fantastic:

1: Do you have any more information on this?
2: Do you know any other countries that are producing that much or even more?
