Hypermiling - beat your car's own fuel efficiency figures

Hypermiling is a driving practice that aims to beat the official fuel efficiency figures for your car. Basically, it involves avoiding sharp acceleration and braking, maintaining momentum and avoiding stopping (e.g. by anticipating traffic light changes).
