This last week has been pretty awful weather, and it's made me realise that it's about time to start making plans to ensure your home will be energy efficient and cheap to run this winter.We've scheduled in a weekend to sand down our floorboards and block up holes so that we stay draught-free and can hopefully cut down our gas bills.Other jobs that might need doing are checking your roof tiles, painting your house and considering insulation for your loft or cavity walls.
