Consumers are making greener choices when choosing their automobiles, a car manufacturer has claimed.A survey from Peugeot reveals that sales of its low emission model has increased by 16 percent, with an interest in reducing fuel also driving the sales of diesel models.Like other environmentally-friendly cars on the market, the Peugeot 107 is in the Band B 109gCO2/km low-emissions grouping.Pierre Louis Colin, managing director of the firm, said: "We are pleased with the performance of our small and efficient vehicles, which address the growing needs of our customers."He added that customers in the new car market are also set to benefit from lower road tax if they purchase environmentally-friendly vehicles.Last week Piaggio and Cold Logic partnered to offer a carbon-free refrigerated solution to urban food deliveries, boasting low running costs and exemptions from congestion charging and vehicle excise duty.
