Condensing boilers offer 90% efficiency

07 July 2008

Condensing boilers offer 90% efficiency High levels of efficiency can be achieved through the use of condensing boilers, according to one manufacturer.

The Worcester Bosch Group has claimed that its range of Greenstar boilers can help to save the environment and household money, Easier Property reports.

This is a result of the boilers' high rate of efficiency which reduces carbon output and lowers monthly outgoings, something identified by the company's director of marketing and technical support Martyn Bridges.

"Our Greenstar range of gas and oil fired condensing boilers are all over 90 per cent efficient and are A-rated for efficiency, which means they are better for the environment as well as reducing fuel bills," he remarked.

The Energy Saving Trust has highlighted the benefits of having condensing boilers compared to conventional models, which are only 78 per cent efficient.
