Pupils at one Scottish school have put the environment at the top of their agenda, it has been reported.Youngsters who attend Drumblade Primary School in Huntly aim to get rid of their old oil boiler in favour of an environmentally-friendly version, according to the Press and Journal.Through writing letters to politicians, creating and delivering leaflets to councillors and parents, the pupils hope to gain support for their eco-committee's goal.Commenting on the initiative, teacher Gayle Readman - who has helped the children with their campaign - said: "The benefits are huge. It's renewable energy. The main thing is we have an oil boiler at the moment. It's 27-years-old."In terms of saving energy in the home, it was recently advised by a Centrica representative to switch to a band A condensing boiler, the Daily Mail reports.
