A community group in Cheshire has set up a low carbon group to spread the message of low carbon living.The Chester Chronicle reports that the Westminster Park Low Carbon Group is carrying out a review of the carbon footprint of the community and suggesting ways that members can reduce their carbon emissions.Brian Westcott, who lives in Westminster Park, told the Chester Chronicle: "We have carried out a survey to determine the extent to which houses are insulated and equipped with energy saving devices, as well as residents' lifestyles in terms of travel."He added that carbon footprints have been calculated for each household and the group is developing an action plan to encourage residents to take action.The local school is also involved with the children being made aware of the subject.Westminster Park was part of a celebration of Chester's historical gardens and parks earlier this month.
