With the closing date of 31 October 2008 now passed, the entries for the Rushlight Awards 2008 are in and the judges have deliberated.  With cleantech as possibly the most active and developing sector with significant investment opportunities and funds set aside for advancement and deployment, the Rushlight Awards give you the opportunity to:

 

  • Meet and learn about the leading UK and Irish cleantech organizations
  • Discuss the market and opportunities with investors
  • Make new contacts with advisers
  • Network with trade associations, government department representatives, institutes and other networks
  • Seek the views of leading academics, experts and specialists in all aspects of cleantech

The Rushlight Awards are a celebration and promotion of the leading organizations throughout UK and Ireland which have furthered environmental technology and innovation in the fields of renewable energy, clean fuels, power generation, water, waste and pollution management.  The event has created a community whose main purpose is to assist in the development of cleantech and in the improvement of environmental standards.  This community is made up of the headline partners and sponsors, namely the Institute of Physics, Welsh Power, Kilburn & Strode, Black & Veatch, Cleantech Magazine and Clarity Authoring, over 60 supporting partners, 22 media partners, judges and special guests who together form a resource and a platform of unsurpassed cleantech expertise.

 

The black tie Rushlight Gala Awards Dinner takes place on Thursday 22 January at the New Connaught Rooms in London, commencing at 6.30pm.  This event is a unique opportunity to meet with the key people in the UK and Irish cleantech sector in a fun and informative atmosphere.  Bookings are now being taken, so please contact us for further details.
